2017 F150 3.5EB Lariat “no key detected” + IA no longer functions
I took my truck through the car wash and after drying and vacuuming the IA no longer worked and I cannot use the push to start function. No matter what I do I keep getting “no key detected”. I have to put my key in the cupholder slot to start my truck. I have changed the fob batteries with new batteries. I’ve used forscan to erase my keys and add them back. I ordered a new key and programmed it and still get “no key detected”.
All Fobs allow me to lock/unlock, remote start, and release the tailgate, but I cannot use IA or normal push to start.
I had the truck battery tested and it shows the battery is good. I tested for starting and it passed. It passed the alternator test as well. I’ve used forscan to see if there are any codes or abnormalities and nothing showes.
The truck battery was replaced OCT23
Any help is greatly appreciated.
