I was driving about 10mph when I lost power steering and the truck started slowing down. The oil light/symbol popped up. The motor was still running. I shut it off and started it back up and everything was working fine. Does anyone know what could cause this?

 

Disconnect both battery cables (negative 1st) and inspect/clean any corrosion and reinstall (negative last).
