You guys should all be checking your wiring loom in the door jamb. Very common issue to have wires break inside the rubber boot that runs between the door and the truck. My 05 Explorer did the same thing.

This print is from a 2013 manual for a two door. (not crew cab) My problem was with the connectors at the switch I think. After testing the switch and cleaning the plug it's been working for 5 years so far. Also like Shift Lock said most of these trucks end up being a broken wire in the door harness between the door jam and body. You could try holding the switch on and moving the harness around. if you get the window to move at all you will know where your problem is. Not a guarantee that will work but worth a try. Good luck.

That would make them fail to operate, not send strong but wrong signal to motor. Plus I did pull the connection apart on both jams, blew the connection out with compressor, inspected wiring and reassembled.

2012 f150 crew cab. replaced both door switches, and motor, and reset BCM with Forscan........window still does same thing. door jam wiring is in great shape. never is inoperable, window moves up and down properly with passenger door switch. window only goes down from driver side switch on up and down equally..... very frustrating

I have a 2013 3.5 EB. The window in my rear-driver side has issues. There have been times when someone rolls it down and it won't go back up. What I discovered is it goes back up from the driver switch only if the window lock is on. I don't ever roll that window down because I don't want it to stay down.

I have considered the BCM being the problem. Explain to me your thinking behind reseting it

Default I found the Fix for me

Had the same issue with my 2013 f150 5.0 xlt super crew. Passenger Window would go down with the drivers side switch but not up. then a few months later it would not go up or down but the passenger switch worked great. I bought a new switch for the drivers side door. Was not the problem still was having the issue. So I took the rubber boot off the drivers side door where the wires go into the truck and I tugged softly on each wire individually I ended up pulling out two broken wires! I then carefully cut the middle of the boot to where I could access both wires I stripped the two yellows and the two green wires. attached the corresponding wires with wire connectors. I then siliconed where I had cut the rubber boot so no water could get in where I cut. The window worked perfect after that took me maybe 20 minutes. May not be your issue but I would consider taking a look at that, they looked in good shape at first glance but after I tugged they were completely broke in two so I hope this helped someone because it was sure irritating for me to have to reach over to the passenger side to shut the window!

Hoping the solution was posted before we play exploratory surgery, tracing out the BR-Yellow stripe and GR-Orange stripe wires
