2013 ford f150 5.0 diesel rattle at low rmp
Hello, I have a 13 f150 with the 5.0 motor, 118,000 miles on it. Ive been hearing a diesel like rattlefrom 1k to 2k RPMS. I've looked through all the forums and can't find a solution. There is no lights on even if I plug in the obd2 reader it gives me nothing. I really don't feel like paying ford 200$ to maybe give me the problem. If anyone has had this sound and found a solution you input would be much appreciated.

First thing I would do is try some premium gas and see if it goes away.
