2008 150 PCV replacement
Replacing the PCV valve regularly is a good maintenance practice. Much like change oil and filters. How often to change it is open to debate. I change them every 5th oil change. The part is cheap. The effects of neglecting it are expensive.
On your 5.4, it should be middle of the valve cover on the passenger side. Look for a hose attached to something in that area. Under the end of that hose will be the PCV valve. There are different types/models of the valve, depending on the different year of the engines. Some just pull out. Some are 1/4 turn out. Some have a coolant tube wrapped around it, some don't. Whatever the case may be ... look on the passenger side, around mid length of the valve cover.
Hope that helps!
