2007 F150 4lo light blinks and speedometer drops
While driving in 2 wheel drive when you take your foot off of the accelerator, the 4LO light will blink, the speedometer will lose power and drop to 0 and there is a grinding. The truck drives fine and does not lose power. I have spent $900 trying to get this fixed. We replaced the Hub Solenoid and replaced the Computer.
At this point I have unplugged the vacuum hose?? so the grinding has stopped, but the engine light immediately came on. As you can tell, I am not a mechanic and just need some recommendations I can take back to the mechanic.
I appreciate any help I can get.

Sounds like a cluster issue to me, need to perform a vacuum test at the IWE's also ...
