Any idea what would be causing this? The audio on my radio and preset buttons all work fine, as do all other lights on the dash, but the radio screen is completely out. Could this be a bulb that needs to be replaced, or a wire that's loose?

My 1993 is the same...I just have lived with it since 2011. I had a 2007 and it was the double-DIN 6-CD changer. I had that radio out for a stuck CD and do not recall any replaceable bulbs. A replacement from your local recycling yard might be the solution.

Thanks Velosprout. I've seen a few youtube videos on radios having loose wires or a transistor that needed fixing, which solved the problem...but none of them were F-150's.

I'll poke around a little more before I succumb to replacing the whole thing.
