Default 2003 F150 AC problem

I'm trying to get my sons AC working on 2003 F150 with the 5.4 engine. No fuses are blown, already checked. I don't have gauges to check for freon charge. The clutch on compressor won't engage. I've checked with volt meter and there's no power getting to it.

Need gauges to diagnose properly. A/C pressure transducer could be turning the system off, gauges will confirm. Double check fuse and clutch relay, swap relay if needed.

I've already double checked all the electrical related, and this particular compressor has the low pressure switch inside of it. I also know that the computer is involved some way with it, which has my concern.....I can't find any voltage at clutch after jumping low pressure switch wiring connection

..uh, no. The low pressure switch is on the suction side of the system, usually on or very near the accumulator.

It is completely in charge of the system.

There's more to it than that.

1. Get the gauges. If you do not know what the system's static pressure is, you don't know what the thing is supposed to be doing.
2. Scan the PCM for fault codes. Certain PCM faults automatically disable the A/C compressor.

There is a logical process for troubleshooting this symptom. Haphazardly poking around and guessing often just leads to confusion.

I don't do haphazard stuff. No codes in computer either. There is NO switch on or near accumulator either it's down on top of compressor. Please check to see what I'm talking about instead of making accusations.

well, good luck to you, it's going to be needed since you don't listen well.
