My 2000 Lariat is haveing a problem with the electrical system that I could use some help figuring out. My gauges go nuts every time I step on the gas, my voltage guage runs up to high and if I am in park or neutral and step on the gas the same thing happens with the addition of the engine bogging. Can anyone help with this.

 

I say it's defiantly a ground issue. Check the grounds (big and small) going to the battery. Also cab to frame grounds.
