1990 5.0 idles very low when cold and sometimes hesitates at stops
I have a 1990 f150 I just traded for a ranger it has a 5.0 and when its cold it has a very low idle I ran the scanner on it and the map sensor and egr codes came back I'm just curious if there is anything else that may be contributing to my headaches I'm getting another egr valve from a kid at school and I am ordering the map sensor my teacher says that I have good vaccum pressure and its the electronic part of the egr? Any ideas am I on the right track?
