08 5.4 fueling issue
Hey y’all,
I’ve got an 08 5.4 triton that magically developed a horrendous idle and died after reaching operating temperature yesterday in the rain. Will re fire after completely cooling down, and is throwing codes p0190, p0191, p2196, and p2198.
Another interesting tidbit, if I unplug the fuel rail pressure sensor it runs near flawlessly. My initial thought was fpdm, which was last replaced about 6 years ago and is already showing corrosion but hasn’t cracked like the previous one. Is it possible that I have a bad pressure sensor and it’s not the fpdm this time?
