Had a storm hit not long ago and my truck wouldnt start couldnt figure it out then had some friends over fuel pump wasnt working thought i was going to need a new one so had one priced out 400 bucks couldnt really afford that so i googled problems and a fuel pump module poped up took it off and yup rotted out got a new one plugged it in and she fired right up.

Apparently this happens alot for the 04-08 models of f-150s i would suggest if you do have to replace it get one with the rubber spacers and keep the receipts since ford might take this part as a recall in the future.

 

Yup. Nasty for sure. And stuck in a silly place.
