07 Lincoln Mark LT / 4WD Quit After Replacing ECM
Help, lol...
After having a brand new ECM replaced in this truck I started to notice the 4WD Hi / Low indicator would flash intermittently. I attempted to engage the vehicle into 4WD to see if it was just a bad light but the vehicle would not go into 4WD...called the Ford dealer where it was replaced. They said it was a bad ECM to bring it back in and they would replace. They have just replaced the vehicle with a new ECM and SAME THING...
There were absolutely no problems before either ECM were put in. The dealer just called and said that it works when they engage it manually by bypassing the computer.
Any thoughts or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated!

Ecm was replaced due to the truck not cranking, then it was cranking, wouldn’t start. Had about $2k worth of work on it done as well as the fuel pump replaced.
They have replaced it again the second time thinking it was faulty. The new one is doing the same thing. They still have it but want $8k on another repair.
