So Ive been reading several threads on the knock sensors situation and i have a few questions. My check engine light came on so i brought it to a place that scans codes. The code came back "knock sensor Bank B". So i know that this truck has two knock sensors, one on the driver side and one on the passenger. Which one is B? And where is the plug for it? i see several that all have the same type of connection.

My plan is to buy a new one and just screw it into a hole that is already on the engine some where since i wont be able to access the original spot underneath the manifold. So my next question is which knock sensor are compatible with an 04 f150 5.4L v8

Btw this is my first post, however ive been lurking on here for a while. I just want to say i have found this forum extremely useful and i just want to say thanks in advane.

B is normally the drivers side.. I have never seen the knock sensor so.. can’t help you there.. is this a 3v 5.4 ?
