01 Needs hood springs!
The d*** thing tried to eat me today! First day licensed and on the road. Drove it to work, took a second to look it over.
My hood gas springs are weak. Had the hood up, face in tight looking at the air snorkel contemplating a GOTTS mod when the wind blew my hood down smashing my face into the rad shield. Was not happy. : (
Recommendations on good, affordable springs? Other options?

You can get lift supports at any parts store for around $35-$40, went to see what brand was on my truck and it didn't have a brand on it, just a sticker that said made in the USA. Don't remember where I got them, I'm thinking Autozone.
