Default Wheel well patch wavy

First attempt at body work repair. 96 150. Welded in a new arch. bondo and sanded from 80-400. primed and painted. Had issues with welding gaps and I warped the panel pretty good. Is there any chance of getting the wave out of the patch? Didn't have any oil caning but can't seem to get the ripples out of it. Start over or hammer and doll?

I'd have to agree. once you've warped it it'll never go back.

You did pick a pretty difficult area as a first try - compound curves are not easy.

IMO at this point, if you try to redo it, it will be worse, I'd put a whole bedside on it.

I trimmed down the patch to cover just the rusted area. Would welding in the full patch made any difference?
