Default Stripping everything

I'm planning on stripping all of the paint and re-painting my entire truck. What would the best way to go about doing it? I have a buffer that I can use, wondering if it would be a good idea to paint the whole truck with a roll-on liner like Rhino Lining or something along those lines? Any advice, input, suggestions or anything is appreciated. Not set on the liner but would like to paint it a nice black. Here's what it looks like right now.

why on earth would you do that??? it would look horrible, just paint it with paint. as far as the buffer goes, do you suggest you would sand it with that? you need a power sander for it.

I would be power sanding it yes, that's what I meant by that. I want to get rid of the rattle can job and don't like the factory red, so I assumed the best way to go would be to strip everything. Should I not waste my time with that and just prime/paint over the current job?

OH and as far as the bed liner paint job, I realized that wouldn't be a very good idea haha

you dont prime over paint . theres already primer under that paint. if you sand it to bare metal , then you etch , vinyl wash {promoter} surface prime and then paint .

It sounds like at your experience level, it may be better to pay a professional to do this for you.
