i tired everything (short of the plexi tube) on my curved light bar and nothing worked, including those little foam add-ons. the only solution that worked, based on my research, was the tube for a front of the cab mounted light bar.

I wouldn't mind a setup like I see on jeeps, at the base of the windshield but that isnt happening. I attached 3pcs of angled flashing (4"L x 2"W) with silicon to the fins. I'm testing different angles, top speed is 78mph now, probably less in a headwind. So 85mph is the goal right now, I rarely get that fast, still it's nice to know I can. When I get it where I want it, painted and finished I'll post a pic.
