I’m looking for advice on how to simply install a center console from a 2012-2014 platinum into a regular cab 2009 stx. I don’t know much about it because I can’t find a console in my area but when I do get one I’d like to know how easy/hard it’ll be to install

 

I think you might have better luck finding an 08-11 console since that should have similar mounting provisions to your RC. I think the later consoles had brackets which were secured with bolts coming in through the side, whereas prior consoles bolted downward directly to the floor pan.
