Default Zone 4" Lift actual height increase

Hi all.

After an extended internal debate I just ordered a Zone 4" lift for my 2016 Screw, Sport, Fx4. 5.0L w/3.73.

I wanted a "mild" lift (3" to 4") with good ride quality without over stressing the OEM suspension. With this in mind, i ordered the Zone 4" instead of the 2.5" leveling kit.

However, I am now concerned that the 4" Zone will yield more than 4" front.

Does anybody have ACTUAL true measurements of front height increase after the lift??

Since i want a near perfect leveled stance, i was planning to replace the rear blocks with 2.5" blocks.

Other components oredered are:

Fuel Boost 20x9 -12mm wheels
295/60r20 Nitto terras (34")
Bushwacker extend a flare (painted to match)
2.5" rear blocks

I will appreciate your input on the actual lift of the Zone 4". Specially the front.

It's tough to get "level" when you're a perfectionist. Personally, I hate the ride quality you get after you lose the factor rake. I'll be looking at options to raise the rear even higher.. probably add-a-leafs, because I get a lot of sag whenever I'm hauling anything.

Being level seems to mean being level until you put almost any weight in back, at which point your front end will be higher. You can never quite get the mirrors where you want them, either, because everything is angled to work with the factor rake.
If you're an experienced driver, you'll notice how much your truck hates the new stance. Everything just feels out of balance.

Some food for thought, before you go and do it.

(4" BDS kit. Pretty much level, except whenever I pack any tools into the back.. Or anything at all, for that matter.)

Thanks for your observations. Yes i am a perfectionist.

I currently also have a 2010 sitting perfectly level on Fox 2.0 adjustable fronts. I am OK with how it drives being leveled. It is sitting on 34's but could use 1-1.5" more lift.

Back to my question, did you measure the actual height increase with your 4" BDS lift?? I like the height of your truck.

Never got the answer. Not even from Zone technical support.

I have the lift on hold. Went ahead and installed a Zone 2" leveling kit (spacer). I got a litlle under 2". Had to do lot of trimming to fit my tires and wheels. The -12mm offset was the main issue.

Today I ordered Rancho quicklift coilvers. I hope they will provide 0.5" to 0.75" more lift than the Zone spacer for a perfect stance and better ride (adjustable firmness).

I had the zone 6 inch lift on my f150 before I sold it. That lift netted 6 inches in the front and 4 in the rear end. Truck sat level. Zone is a sister company to BDS. Good stuff enjoy the lift
