After applying the fix posted by Kingofwylietx, my mpg display is usually no more than .2 mpg off now. Usually .1 mpg, which is close enough for me. Before the change, it was as much as 2.5 mpg higher than my hand calculated mpg's. A great and simple fix, and thanks to the guy that figured this out.
