Amp rack bolts to the seat bolts.
I'm using a fuse block for both positive and negative. I know this is not necessary, but they symmetry sparks my joy.
System pounds only use it to about 12-15 on the volume.
For Grounding I used a novel approach. I went to the grounding point on the wall above by the seat's top mount, but then added a 4 GA line from that point to the frame rail under the truck going through a rubber grommet that was already there.. Dead quiet.
Very nice set up! I did car audio in the 80's. I was pulling out 8 track tape players to install cassettes and by the time I stopped installing, I was pulling out cassettes to install cd's. Boy am I old LOL!
That amp rack looks great! I'm using the same sub amp. I want to replace my sub box with a dual 10 prefab I found that slides further under the seat than my homemade box does. I will need to move the amp to the back wall like this since currently it sits in the storage cubby underneath the rear seat.
