The only problem is that they are not $2k worth it.

 

With retrofit options, you can keep it well under that. Using an X-lens projector should make it a bit easier to fit also.

 

I only know the basics about retrofitting, but I will say there is a reason an OEM headlight assembly is upwards of $1400k on the new models.

 

If you wait a little longer (1-2 months) I believe there are aftermarket headlights and tail lights coming out for the 15s.

 

That couldn't be further from the truth. The x lens projectors require so much more cutting than a standard mini H1 and mini Gatlin shroud. The bezels of the headlight itself has to be cut and contoured to allow for full range of adjustment.

 

Which still have halogen projectors made for mass produced production... Here's an example of hids in those brand headlights.

 

Or spend the money and do it or have it done right....

 

Projector must be a lot bigger than I though. I understand the H1 is smaller, but I figured m you might have better luck with it due to the squareness of the housing.

 

The fit isnt much different but the size of the shroud makes all the difference. The ruby red set I posted took a big chunk outta the headlight bezel for me to allow the customer adjustment. Same with the silver set although not as pronounced due to the rounded shape. Easiest is by far a mini with mini shroud.

 

It usually ends up being so. Heck, with the 10th gen headlights, you don't even have to cut. The projector screws into the back of the housing, and the mini gatlin shroud doesn't need trimming.
