Neither one looks like it needed to be changed.

Thanks! It's a yearly thing with me, I like to change both sometime after pollen season.

Air filter for engine to me looks like it needed to be changed im sure you'll see a slight increase in mpg. I just changed my cabin air filter at 10k and my engine air filter at 10k both were dirty. I do it shorter intervals because I'm using my truck more and its easier on the engine and hvac system to breathe through a cleaner filter then a dirty filter

Ok, did you have a hard time getting the cabin filter out and in and to lay down in the filter box? I just changed mine today at 28000 and it wasn't that dirty but glad its in there.
I don't want to have to change it again anytime soon, what a PITA.

I would strongly suggest to anyone that is going to change the CABIN AIR Filter that hasn't changed it before to watch a YouTube Video.

Makes all the difference. But yes, it is a PITA.

No problem at all. I've changed it 5 times, and the wooden trim piece is still not cracked or broken.

How dirty it will be depends a lot on your local environment and whether or not your truck is garaged. I changed mine at about 15K miles, and it was hardly dirty at all, but my truck is garaged when I am not using it. Do some off roading, or park it outside under a tree when not in use, and it will likely be much dirtier.

Doesn't the manual say to change the cabin filter every 12,000?
Regardless, I change all air filters on all of our vehicles each spring.

Manual says cabin filter at 20,000 miles. My truck is garaged and at 20,000 my filter was still pretty clean.
