Default XLT CD player

My '20 XLT came with the standard AM/FM/XM radio and I miss the CD player. Is there an OEM radio that would be plug and play without replacing the infotainment/enviormental bezel? I'm not interested in anything aftermarket that requires cutting/splicing a factory wire. I'm old and analog.

Best advice would be to check CRUTCHFIELD...but I doubt you'll find anything.

There is nothing OEM that is plug and play. This is the most plug and play you’ll find:
Automotive Integrated Electronics OE Integrated Vehicle CD Player via USB radio connection (USBCDPLAY2) – (See Vehicle Fit Chart PDF)
Amazon Amazon

For that price, I’d suggest investing in some USB flash drives and a decent computer program to rip the CDs to the flash drives.

You know......CDs are digital.

There used to be a vinyl record player for cars. There were not many made and I've never actually seen one in person. Only seen one on my old B&W vacuum tube TV.

My XLT came with CD player and I’m proud to say I actually use it!

When I did the Forscan climate control I needed to upgrade bezel too in order to get full functionality, I was worried I wouldn’t find a Lariat bezel with the CD cutout but I got lucky on my first try on eBay.

Convert to mp3’s. Last I checked I have 450 cd’s on a thumb drive, and I can ask bitching betty to play anyone of them!

I wish my 2020 had a CD player. Even if I didn't use it much I'd rather have it than not. I've been streaming from my phone quite a bit lately but that drains my phone battery quicker than I like.
