I did have 911 assist. It put the truck in park, hazards came on and called 911. Before I realized what had happened I was already talking to a 911 rep.

 

This is good to hear. Glad you are ok. Sorry about your truck.

I am hoping to get a Dash cam soon for this reason. Never know when Insurance companies will jack you around and try to put you at some type of fault. This looks like an open and closed case though.

did it actually shift the manual gate or just put it in park electronically?

It did it electronically and I manually put the shifter in park.

If the frame is tweaked that truck is junk. Start looking for another one

Hate to say this, but the last time something like this happened to Me, the responsible insurance company jacked Me around until I complained that My neck hurt. Actually still does after years of therapy.
