Hello everyone, I got a killer deal on a backup camera. It's OEM and came with the entire harness, the camera, the courtesy light and the handle. I got it all for $30 My question today is the camera. I'm not ready to install anything just yet, the handle is currently at the shop getting painted body color. But the camera lens does have what appear to be some fine scratches on it. I'm wondering if it's worth installing it and seeing if it's usable, or just get another one. Even if I buy a new OEM one I'm still coming out way ahead in the project since the initial cost was the $30. I tried to get as clear a pic as I could with my phone.
I'd check the picture first. I'm guessing the focal length puts it further away from the scratches. It may have some impact, but plug it in and take us a picture
