My wife and I both have 2016 F150's. I don't think she would go back to a car now.
We used her 2.7 to tow a 6800lb trailer cross country (CA to FL) twice with no issues.

I bought my wife an f150 when she needed a new vehicle so we could get a camper. The only time I drive it is towing the camper or when we go out as a family. She really love her truck and I'm stuck driving my little Ranger!

The wife went from a Trans-Am to a super crew 4x4 F150; said she was tired of sitting 3" from the ground while driving.

Not sure what being a woman has to do with this. But anyway, I found my 2015 does not have near the tight turning circle my 2005 had. Part of that is likely the longer cab that affords more rear space in the Super Crew, so I'll live with it for the kid's sake.

I have much respect for farm girls and outdoors ladies that two a few boats before breakfast, but they are few and far between in my acquintances.

Our 2015 XLT Screw is my wife's truck, and is our only vehicle. Her only quibble was that it is automatic, not 6-speed manual.
She loves the height off the road, and likes to drive it as well. I do most of the driving now, because of health issues, but she loves riding cross-country in it, as she did in her 2011 F150 that preceded it.
I taught her to drive after we were married, then taught her to drive a 4-speed 89 Tempo (bought new) on which she put over 200k miles, and it still had the original clutch when we traded it.
So she's an experienced female driver who loves her F150!

I have the tendency to compensate turning radius with throttle input...but I value my tires..so I'm keeping calm..

Go for the truck, my wife was completely scared of it until she had to drive it due to me getting neck surgery and now she loves it. She drives a new Edge but loves to drive my truck at times.
