You would think that Ford would have provided side holes to run usb cables outside the bucket where the sync usb connection is. At least on the 2018 they moved the usb hub higher up in the bucket, making access to it more convenient.

I want to run my iphone cable out the driver side of the bucket and then up to the top of the dash where the iphone is located.

IMO the only way to do that is to drill a hole through the driver side of the console. Just want to get ideas on where to drill the hole and to do it cleanly.

I can do this without help, but it probably won't be pretty, hence the request for advice.

Too late. I couldn't wait. Drilled a hole from the inside out and ran my cable.
