Wiper blades on 2015 out of position
Hi everyone,
so I recently took my 2015 f150 lariat into a local ford dealership to have some work done on it. They messed up some of the work I asked to have done on the truck but that is a different story.
When I got my truck back i noticed that the wipers were sitting up a bit higher than they were before. Didn't think much of it until it rained yesterday. Well the driver side wiper now goes up and off the windshield making a great thud noise every time.
any idea how to fix this? I'm leaving on a road trip on Wednesday and can't be without my truck for two days while ford drags their feet on attempting to fix it. I'm not taking it back to that dealership every again either.

Flip the wiper arm up. There is a tab at the base of the arm that you hold up with your fingernail (or so) and as you hold it, pull the arm straight up. Reset to whatever position you want. Might be a little trial and error.

Fold the blade up, release the lever where it locks onto the post and lift the wiper off the post. Make sure the piece is still in the key slot to position the wiper. If it's not you can reposition the wiler on the post and it'll stay since the post is knurled.

The keys are not required, just there to make it easier to align the blades at the factory.
Pop them up, take them off and adjust them... takes 30 seconds.
I have had 2 windshields replaced and have too adjust them every time.

the key is what keeps the arm from getting out of time, check to see if the key is there if not they only come with the whole arm. i have replaced mine twice, and all i had to do was walk into the dealer parts dept. and show them told my mileage and year and they just gave them to me.

Learn something new every day..... What do these keys look like? Are they the same as the square keys you would have on a pulley?
