I'm an hour north of you so know how your Calgary winters are. I run Nokian Hakka R3's in the stock 18" size. These are dedicated winters and tough to beat their grip and ride quality. Nokian also has some new "all-weather" but have no idea how they perform.. Exclusive to Kal-Tire, worth a visit to check out their selection.
For me, I picked up a set of new takeoff wheels from the Ford dealer so can swap them on my own time.

Oh and just a heads up............might be an idea to shop for winter rubber sooner than later. My local shop was stocked up already and commented the inventory was limited this year. Because of Covid, a lot of the factories had lower production, only made the popular sizes, etc.

Since you are in Canada you can get the Open Country AT II AW, which is snowflake rated. I don't believe they are available in the US. I had them on my '16 and much preferred them to the K02's I had before. Much better winter and wet traction, also wore much better than the K02's. Someone recommended the new Toyo AT3, I inquired about this tire with Toyo and they responded that the new AT3 will not be available in Canada until spring '21.

Yycwrangler - It’s not what you were asking for, but I and a lot of people here picked up 4 wheels, and run dedicated snow tires.

On ice, the traction is night and day. Stopping distances are about half.

Good luck in your search.

Very happy with the performance of my Falken Wild Peaks in all conditions (on road/off road, wet, dry, snow, mud, rocks, gravel roads), and they have been on the truck for over 3 years now. Yes they are 3-peak snow rated. The only negative I could give is they have some tread noise, especially at highway speeds. It isn't more than I expected given the aggressive A/T tread, but if you are looking for a silent tire this isn't it.

I run General Grabber AT/X here in Northern Wisconsin. Our roads are iced over most of the Winter. They are snowflake rated, quiet, and have had great year-round performance.

I've been happy with my K02's. A much better tire than the factory Hankook's. Ugh, those tires were terrible in the snow/wet. The K02's are substantially better in the snow. The wet they are better than OEM. They are pretty quiet for an all-terrain as well. I'm located in Iowa (midwest) so we get all kinds of fun weather here from hot to cold and everything in between. I have not used them off road for any longer period of time to comment on that though.

I would suggest avoiding tires with heavier load ratings such as E. While the tread is actually deeper, the tires are heavier, ride worse, and are more expensive. Unless your doing a bunch of heavier towing or lots of weight in the bed of course.

General Grabber AT2 has the snowflake rating and is also available in a P rating for your 18 inch wheels.
Its a very good tire in snow and ice, its what I have for winter in NWO

It wears very well and is a smooth running tire (in P rating)
