Add me to the list - Mine froze up almost immediately after one squirt this AM. Truck is going in Thursday to have the TSB applied to resolve.

Replaced the check valve with a straight coupler and instantly fixed. I popped the top off the valve and couldn't see anything obvious, but perhaps water gets in and sits on top of the diaphragm and freezes, which prevents it from opening and letting fluid go by.
That was my theory also... My tubing bypass is still working perfect,,, never noticed any problem not having the check value in there..

Its been -20c here for the last week. Needless to say I've had no washers. I will definitely be doing this when the temps warm up.

In case anyone missed it, here is the link to the TSB for this issue. I'll report back on the outcome once I have it applied:

Just performed the DIY TSB.... Popped up the P.S. cowl by unclipping the fluid hose just before cowl. Then unclipped cowl, by using trim pry tools. Only need to unclip the 1st two Tabs pictured.

Then I removed the check valve, I used a 3/32 bit, to make the through hole.... Then I reinstalled check valve, and you have performed the DIY TSB!

I get instant Rain-X 2-in-1 All Season -20 F, windshield washer fluid Instantly, no dry wipes! Hopefully, now mine wont freeze up. As I mentioned, we rarely get alot of -0 F temps here in STL...

I cant stand, to not have working window washer fluid, nor streaky windows in bad weather...

My '16 SCREW has a 05-2016 assembly date. The valve in the cowl was a three way "Tee" or "Wye" design, not a straight nipple configuration. If this is the "fix" used by TSB 16-0082, it didn't work in my truck in moderate 20*F weather. FWIW, the truck was full of Rain-X fluid and it was dosed with isopropyl alcohol. This isn't a washer fluid freezing issue, it is a check valve binding in cold weather issue.

When I decided to remedy this situation the check valve was again stuck closed and it was 8*F in the driveway. The plan was to drill the valve, but plastic is hard and brittle in the cold. I ended up replacing the check valve with a plastic vacuum T fitting. It still seemed easier to fix it myself than to go to the dealer.

We shouldn't have to do stuff like this to a new truck...

I just discovered the frozen washer this morning on my drive to work. It made my hour drive a challenge. The temperature was 22F-28F.

Is there another check valve that can be purchased from a different manufacturer? There seems to be quite a few if you search the net.

7 degrees F this morning and my washers were frozen.
After the truck warmed up and help from the sun they started working again.

Waiting for an above freezing day to open up my check valve.
