Default Windshield washer inoperable at speed

I sirched and didn't see any discussion on this. My windshield washer sprays fine below 40mph but at highway speeds it shoots a stream directly at the bottom of the windshield. There is no wide spray and it all stays below the wiper blades. Is this normal for everyone else? I'm assuming the wind stream over the hood is holding the spray down, because that's all I can figure.

That's funny man I only wash my windows above 140 mph and it works fine.

Mine works at hwy speeds the same as if sitting still, no issues.

I get this when travelling above 70mph with a strong headwind.

It's not much of a problem if you spray enough so the wipers spead it around... kind of annoying though

Its normal... Ive never owned a vehicle, that sprayed washer fluid at Highway Speeds. Like it would at 20 mph or less....
