I know this has been a long time, but I wanted to post the resolution.

Finally got the chance to take it to the dealer today. They gave me a loaner vehicle, (a 2016 Ford Focus LOL. Didn't like it at all. It was loaded though), and replaced the windshield without any issues. Took about six hours. They didn't say that this has been a problem they've been seeing or anything like that.

I've owned mostly Ford my entire life and this is part of the reason. They have never hassled me on warranty issues and this was no exception. I was just worried that this wouldn't be covered, but it was.
