Just picked up a 2016 F150 XLT today. Didn't realize until all the papers were signed that the drivers side rear window won't fully close. It leaves a consistent ~1/4" gap at the top. On the same door the power lock will bounce when unlocked but not fully disengage the lock. From scrolling the forums, I'm guessing I need a new lock actuator, but I haven't seen any fixes for the window. I tried the relearn procedure you'd do for bounce back, but with it not fully closing that didn't do the trick. Has anyone seen this before and have any advice before I order a window regulator along with the lock actuator?

 

Why don't you take it back where you got it and let them fix it? Outside of a private party sale, they have the responsibility to have the systems functioning correctly.

 

100% Do this first,

or you can try removing the door trim and do a visual inspection, maybe the window regulator and the door actuator arm are hitting each other, causing them both to not work properly.

 

Reset it, see if that helps.
