Default Window Cowl.

Just noticed washing truck and raised hood, the window cowl has a small hole where they meet in center and water drains on both ends and dead center of engine. Crazy. Just thought I'd share. I'd assume that's normal, because there is no seal where they meet. Designed that way ?

Anyone notice this, looks like it hits the ecoboost cover and runs down the back, just curious is this is normal.

Yes! I just went out to check my 16 xlt sport, and the plastic motor cover has water on it. It came from the cowl

If you look under seal where the cowl meets that valley is wide open behind seal. I assume the cover defects water. A lil silicone world cure it but I don't want to try and be a technician. Hahah But I guess the cover catches most and runs down back side. . My truck was built last June. Just purchased first of May new 2015. So I guess I'll let it be. Almost year of settings on lot and no issues.
