Default Window bump stop

is there any possible way to override or eliminate the bounce back on the drivers and passenger side windows?

Do you have the window rain guards that are held in by the window molding? I do. In the Summer the window bumps the top and goes down. In the Winter it seems to work fine. So as the window comes up stop it about an inch from the point of contact. Then creep it up a few times and it will usually seat without going back down. It may take a few times to get the hang of it. Mine is a 2011 and don't know of a way to disable it.

There is a way that the dealer can adjust the safety reverse sensitivity, yes. I do not know if it is owner adjustable, maybe someone in the forscan thread can advise.

Mine bounce back about 83% of the time. You never know when they'll do it. About the only time you can count on a bounce back is when it's raining. My visors are the low profile AutoVentshades and stick to the outside of the window rubber, so, in theory, that shouldn't be an issue. I always drop my front windows an inch or so when I park. When I go to lift them back up, one or the other of them will bounce back. I've tried the various methods to combat the bounce, completely unsuccessfully.

the bounce back feature is part of the motor for the window, it’s not adjustable with Forscan.

I believe there is youtube video explaining how to reset / calibrate the window bumps.
