Default winding sound when accelerating

Hello, I have a 2017 f150 fx4 with the 5.0. its got right around 50,000 miles and I have noticed this winding sound what almost sounds like it is coming from the front drivers side, but cannot tell for sure where its coming from. It starts at about 20mph and seems to be the loudest at about 40 mph then the sound goes away when you come to a stop. when putting the truck in neutral and revving the engine up, I do not hear the sound. I did notice that if you cut the wheel to the right while driving then the sounds seems to go away. If you cut the wheel to the left, the sound is still there. Anyone have and ideas?

Your last statement about cutting the wheels, makes me think a wheel bearing is going out,

Sounds like a wheel bearing. Just had one of my front wheel bearings replaced today- started going bad round 55k miles, and at first I thought that my tires had suddenly started getting noisy, then I realized that the sound would go away when going around sweeping curves
