Has anyone tried to fit a Can AM Outlander MAX in the back of their 6.5 ft box with the tailgate up?

I know it will fit, and the rear tires will sit on the tailgate, but I'm wondering if I can completely close the gate if I use something like this

I Can't find any local dealers, so I want to make sure I can close the gate before I spend $600

 

I cant answer yes or no.......but I have seen them used and they fit most in a 6.5.....
I plan to build this--adjustable height...

 

That's what I was looking at, but the supplier can't give me a definite answer if it will fit since they don't carry any in stock
