Why remove the 12V plug Ford??
I'm really enjoying my new 2018 F150 but why Ford did you remove the 12 volt plug inside the little self closing door compartment at the front of the console that was in my 2016? I had the one in my 2016 wired so it was hot all the time and it was very useful for when I needed to use my quick charger on my phone. Another benefit is I use a suction cup phone holder mounted below the 110v outlet and you could keep most of the cord in that compartment. Might have to look at adding a 12v plug in there myself since those usb plugs just wont fast charge my phone.

I have a dash cam and Garmin plugged into mine. The negative is the door closing on the cables. It will pull the plug out of the socket just enough to kill power. I need to drill a hole for the wires so the door closes completely.
The 12v and 110 plug to the right of the radio belong to the wife. Of course the rear is for the grandkids. I do have a mag light I plug into that one on occasion. My Superduty had a plug under the rear seat that was perfect for a light, or any other tool. I miss that one.

Yea there is as well as one beside the 110 outlet on the dash but then you have 4-6 ft of cord laying around.. I just really liked the one in the self closing bin because you could pull out the cord you needed and hid the rest. I guess when you get right down to it if this is my only gripe about my new truck I'm lucky!
