Default Why buy a new model year? Doesn't make sense...

As the title states. I'm curious why anyone would pay for a new model year after seeing discounts over 10k-12k on the previous model year. Just doesn't make financial sense, regardless of financial situation. Anyone agree or agree to disagree?

Cause I wanted to lol. Difference in discounts in Canada was only 3k which was more than worth it for a brand new model year with updated styling.

Disagree. Why would anyone care what someone else spends their money on?

Default Always buy one model year behind

Bought my last four cars in August-November. Always buy the previous model year with the next year on the lot. I average getting around 20% off sticker. Always buy when you don't need a car. If I find a good deal, I will take that car for a test drive, to all the other dealers in town and see if they'll beat that deal.

I do not care what someone spends their money on. After all what you eat doesn't make me crap.

It's a legit question. I'm just curious what is ever in a new model year that's worth more than the rebates from the previous year. If it's just want, I get that
