...from 2016 to 2017? The ones that came with the 2016 are solid mounted 90 degrees. The 2017's pivot about 70 degrees.

I don't know, I watched a video on you tube about it, they said it was easier to get in and out. What's funny about that is mine were hard to get it. I actually went back to the dealer because I didn't want to bend something, they got them on with a bit of effort....

Yep. One of mine very tight and I had to hit it with a file then it slid right in. Seems the coating was a little thicker on one.

Traded my 15 for a 17 XLT. Went to move my swingbox to the new truck and a bracket wouldn't fit because of the new boxlink cleats. Bought a set from an older model on eBay for $30.

Mine were tough to get in as well, had to use a rubber mallet! Thought maybe it was because of the spray in liner.

I want the cleats but alittle hesitant because I have a spray in liner. Plus got some liner spray in screw holes for the plate.

I used a rubber mallet on mine! They were definitely tougher to install on the 17 than the 15! The dealership said they have a different coating on the new ones.
