Default Wheels/Tires

Hey guys, I know this topic has been discussed before but for the sake of me trying to fully understand, I'm curious as to see what size wheel/tire combo I can fit on my 2016 F150. My plan is to do the 2" leveling kit but I don't want to cut the crash bars. From what I gathered, the biggest wheel I can fit is a 10" wide? Please only reply if you have helpful information as wheels/tires isn't exactly my forte, thanks!

I am running 275/60R20's on OEM wheels. Basically 33x10.5. They fit fine before the leveling kit. Part of the rubbing issues are dependent on wheel offset. Factory wheels have an ET of around 40, at least mine does. If you go to a lower ET number (offset) such as 18 and use a wider wheel, you will have more poke and therefore a larger arc during turning, that is where some of the rubbing will come from.

I like to use a website called: Will they Fit http://www.willtheyfit.com/ they show you a visual representation of the impact of your changes by drawing both the existing setup along with the new setup. Hope this will help.

When I was shopping wheels and tires I came up with the following...

If leveling the truck 2+ inches the average biggest tire you can run would be a 34x12 on a 9" wide wheel so long as you don't go with to aggressive of an offset (anything in the +18 or higher should be fine). If you go with a 0 or negative offset you may rub in reverse at full lock. There is really no need to go with a wheel wider than 9" unless you want to go with a 305 (12.5") or wider tire, going with a wider rim does change the math in regards to offset. I ended up going with a 275/60/20 (33x10.8)on a 20x9 +12 wheel. I have a very minor rub at stock ride height if I hit a bump while reversing at full lock, But I will be installing BS 5100's at either 1.26 or 1.75 of lift to take care of that.
