Default Wheel wells.

When people have painted their wheel wells, are you using just flat black paint - or are you using something else, like the bed coating paint/flex seal or plasti-dip.

~ Thanks in advance

EZ liner is one option but I opted to just get the factory inserts.

Are the factory inserts easy to remove for occasional cleaning or are they fastened in there?

I put these on for a buddy of mine on his 2014 a while back. I know it's not a 2015, but it's a wheel well liner, it can't be that different.

It was a couple bolts to remove, snap it in, toss the new bolts in and a clip and it was done. However to avoid any potential issues with stuff getting behind them that would require him to screw with pulling them off occasionally he just had them wells line-x'd and then we put them on. Some may say overkill, good call, by my estimation, and the best of both worlds. You don't have to worry about what might get under them, thanks linex, and for what's on them you just hose them off like you would anything else when you wash your truck.

And as I'm typing this I figured a video might be helpful, so here is a video of a real person doing the 2015 install.

This gives you a better look at the wheel well itself:

This is a better install video:

From the looks of it the only pain in taking them off would be removing the tabs (the guy in the second video is calling them push pins). Since they are plastic, I wouldn't be a huge fan of prying them out and pushing them back in as you're likely to screw them up if you do it over an over again, but just one man's opinion. I don't remember dealing with that on the 2014, but I'm old and my memory is addled so I could be forgetting them.

Hope this helps.

MORE INFO:

... oh and if you're wondering on a price for the Line-X on the wheel wells, I think it was around $200 bucks. Money well spent IMO.

If you decide to go with the OEM liners you can find them here:

If you're looking for an alternative you might want to take a look at these. I've seen a number of posts on here about people who love the Husky stuff, you can find them here:

I'd suggest a good undercoating. I am going to do mine with 3M undercoat before the winter. Paint will chip when hit with rocks.
