This wheel has a 30mm offset vs your factory wheels having a 44mm offset, so they will stick out 14mm more which will not go past the fenders of your truck.
if your worried about them sticking out too far, id go with a 0 or positive offset rim.
i believe the backspacing on the 2015's is around 5in,
so with a 9.5 in wide wheel, a -6mm offset will bring you to stock
positive offset will tuck the wheel in more
negative offset will push the wheel out
keep in mind that your backspacing number is based off the rim width,
a -12 offset on a 9in wheel will NOT be the same as -12 offset on a 10in wheel, because the offset is based of the - or + from the center of the rim.
i would recommend pulling of your stock 20in wheel, and find out what your backspacing is, (distance between back/inside rim of the wheel to the mounting surface) then find out what offset you need (via chart) to make your new rim size work.
heres a chart that can you can look at to determine what offset your new rim will need.
so I feel like a complete moron right now because your charts makes 0 sense to me.. lol that being said I plan on installing bushwacker flares and 20x9 wheels I would like ten to stick out further than factory ofcourse but fall maybe .5 to an inch less than the flares. could anyone tell me what kind of backspacing I would need?
I put 20x9 XD778 with 35mm offset and 305/55R20 tires. This setup needed a level kit in the previous gen trucks but not this one. It fits the new truck perfect the tires sit just under the factory fender flares and gets full turn.
Those charts looked confusing to me too. I used a lot of tire calculators when I was shopping around but I found the most helpful to simply google image search the tire/wheel/truck combo you want and have a look at what it looks like on other trucks. Enough people out there put the wrong tires and rims on and then post it on the internet anyway; you can preview almost any tire/rim size combo that way.
so yours are +35 offset? I ask because from what I read the factory are +44 so that's only 1/2 inch more that it would stick out from stock plus .25 more for being 9inch rim totals 3/4 inch which I believe would still fall under the wheel well anyway.. would you possibly be able to post ant pics of yours so I can see how it looks?
