Wheel offset/spacing
I'm in the process of doing a 3" lift, going to 35s, etc. I was thinking of keeping my stock platinum wheels, but I'd have to space them out so far to get the look that I want that I'll get rubbing. I'm looking to have the tires stick out of the fender a couple inches. What offset would I need on a 20x9 or 20x10 wheel? I'm looking to either do 35 x 12.50 or 285/65/20 which I believe is 35 (ISH) X 11 (ish). I know many users have gone the 285/65/20 route on their factory wheels with a 1/5" spacer, but that only brings it flush with the sides.
thanks y'all!

If you want the tire to extend out of the fender approx. 2" with a 20"x10" wheel you will need -12mm to -18mm offset.
However you most likely will need to modify the front crash bar

Are you actually doing a "Lift" or "Level?"
3" (IMO) is too much for a level.
With the -12 offset you should be able to get by with spreading the crash bars slightly and not have to cut or remove them.
