Wheel Offset Question
I believe an adapter is used when you have different bolt patterns from vehicle to wheel. I does add space but it seem they are allowing them. Do you get longer studs with spacers? You must.
I don't know exactly but am meeting with them next week to find out more about this and the new window tint and other upcoming changes to the regulations.
Will post more if what they say makes sense LOL.
BTW, nice truck!!

Regular spacers slide over your wheel studs. If they are 1/2" inch thick, there is 1/2" of threads covered on the studs. It leaves less threads for the lug nuts to screw on.
If they aren't hub centric, it makes them even more hazardous.
Typically, adapters have two different bolt patterns. Bora sells hub centric spacer/adapters that have two of the same bolt patterns.
They are hub centric, the adapter bolts to the existing studs, and the wheels bolt to the adapter.
This is a much safer alternative over old school wheel spacers.
