Good to know. I've been hearing a lot of the +44 but not usually is it followed up with the width of wheel they are referring to. that's probably why.

So OP, you need to look at wheel calculators to compare.

Enter in your factory wheel..... 8.5" wide +44. Your door sticker will tell you the width of wheel installed (it does not indicate offset on the door sticker).
Then enter the wheel you want. For example the 9" wide x +1 or +20.

Agree with above that a 9" +20 will widen your stance slightly (~inch per side) which is a nice stance with a look similar to stock.

The graphic will show you the difference and the chart will tell you in numbers the change in poke.
Choose the wheel option that suits your needs.

Here are 2 I like to use

*Edit* Dang, I was making that and typing while dude above me was posting those great links.

Alright so I built a little offset position calculator. Should be self explanatory. Someone check my math.

The visualization is nice, but keep in mind that it lacks tire clearance at full lock. That varies vehicle-to-vehicle, though, so I wouldn't expect it to account for that...

I don't like this wheel. ie: these wheels use centering rings to center the wheel, see installation kit pic.

This is the same reason I don't like non-hub-centric wheel spacers...

Great thanks to everyone. I am now educated and fell confident to make the purchase. Will order the wheels and black lugs. And stop by the dealer and grab some new oem stems. Thanks so much.

wheels came today. You do not need the centering rings with this wheel on the F150. My kit came with lug nuts only.. confirmed this with the manufacturer. The wheel I received is 87.1 mm.

For the most part yes. Raptor wheels are +34mm all other 2004-2020 OEM F150 wheels are +44mm.

Yup, they have a 87.1 hub bore so they are hubcentric and they look sweet.
