What would you like to be added / changed on the 2019 F-150

2018 Lariat 4x4
A couple more
- Optional Aux backup lights (or, at least, connectors)
- Ability to tie into existing cams to use for dash cams.
Look to the topics on things that we hobbyists frequently add. Ford has already added a lot over the years. (Bed lights, tonneau covers)

2018 Lariat 4x4
But I do enjoy driving a manual from time to time (despite having leftover knees from 31 years in the Marine Corps)

I have driven my 2018 for 3 days, the wind noise on the drivers side is driving me crazy, I had vent shades added before I picked it up, was going to remove them, no need now
put a decent screen on the backup camera, mine shares with the 360 view and neither one of them are clear enough to recognize objects.

I only get wind noise when the wind is blowing against the passenger side, so if you get it when it isn't windy, check the seals.
If you tap the 360 button top right of the dash you can get the full view, tap it again and you get angled views to see down either side of the cars next to you. One of the best features on my truck!

I would do something with the steering, it seems to be super sensitive and feels like it is swaying back and forth, everybody I have let drive my truck weaves back and forth going down the road, pretty noticeable in the right seat. I have owned a 2007, 2010, and a 2014 and they were all solid, straight ahead driving vehicles, this one is squirrelly to me. I am not sure this one is going to make the grade just yet.

I have a 2018 Lariat with 502a package and ~7000km on it.
This is what I would like to see in the new trucks. I think it'll be 2020 or 2021 when they redesign it again.
Not everyone will like it but this is what I would like to see in a somewhat luxry half ton truck.
- Heads up display on the windshield that shows navigation and speed among other things. Some higher end vehicles have this already.
- Cooled rear seats
- Better infotainment system. Car manufacturers need to give up on the infotainment software. Let the companies who specialize in this, make the software. I understand the infotainment system is very specific to the options in the car, but they can contract it out to someone. Or use Android.
- Better Infotainment screen. the 2018 screen is a huge step up from a 2014 screen, but they can do better. An ipad or Galaxy Tab s3, level of screen Yes it will be expensive.
- Fully digital Instrument cluster with even more adjustments to personalize it.
- V8 Ecoboost or V8 Supercharged
- Dual exhaust on the V8
- Auto tailgate up - Similar to the new dodge
- Digital keyfob that shows if the truck is locked or unlocked, time remaining on remote start etc...
That's all I can think of. Love the new 2018 by the way. A lot of people hate "all this technology" in these new trucks. i.e. the infotainment screen, stop and go, collision assist etc.... All these people don't understand that this is where the car industry is heading.

- headlights that turn to shine around corners
- absolutely no chrome option
- more comfortable seats
