Default what tow package do I have?

I have searched "tow package" on this site and got a lot to do with other stuff not related to my search.
My question: How can I tell what my towing capacity is?

My bumper says nothing on it and does not have a bumper hitch. Just the class IV under the bumper.

My window sticker says "trailer tow package, 3.55 electronic locking RR axle, heavy duty shocks, #7050 GVWR package, 3.5L ecoboost, XTR Package, XLT series".

Has 157" wheelbase (6.5' bed), is a Supercrew 4x4.

Has brake controller built in; backup camera.

Window sticker does not say max tow, just Trailer tow package.

if you know, please help.

Thanks!

The hitch under the bumper is the only hitch it comes with. Lay down, read the sticker on it.

Read PAYLOAD yellow sticker on the door frame. It tells you the max payload you can handle. Subtract from that every modification you add to the truck (bedliner, tonneau cover, floor mats), subtract the weight of yourself and all passengers, and any luggage / cargo / pets you put in the truck.

Subtract 75-125 pounds for a weight distribution hitch. Take the remainder and divide by .13, and that is the max wet and loaded trailer you can tow.

Without a WDH, max tongue weight is 500 pounds. That works out to a 3,846 pound trailer.

Lots of good info in the towing section of the forum.

Thanks! I tow a 24' cougar (5500 lbs dry) and always use my WDH.
I just looked anf the hitch on the truck says 11,000 with a 1100 tongue weight. It also says v-5 so maybe it is a claas five hitch?
My previous 2006 Screw with 5.5 bed and a 5.4 Triton towed ok, just kinda slow going up hills.
I assume I just have the standard tow, not max tow?

Not a class V hitch, no. That's 2 1/2" square. It's a class IV but some tweak to the specs as I recall.

Right, just standard tow.

The yellow sticker will tell you all, 5,500 dry is fine with a WDH. Loaded, depending on your payload and the trailer's capacity, might be close.
